ABOUT THE RETREAT
We’re so excited to announce a special end of summer retreat to Zakynthos, Greece. We’ll be staying on an organic olive oil farm, in the sweetest little cottages scattered across the land. All included meals will be prepared by the family that owns and runs the farm– expect traditional Greek fare, and we’ll plan for two meals out on the island so we can explore some local spots! On the farm we can horseback ride, try a cooking class, tour the land and the olive oil making process, and of course, shop the incredible olive oil products they make there. We’re a quick walk to one of the many incredible beaches of Zakynthos, and we’ll have plenty of time to explore the island throughout the week to find favorite spots.
Our schedule will be easy. Our days will start with coffee/tea and a luxurious 2 hour practice. We’ll then move to a luxurious veranda brunch followed by open days to explore, lounge, rest, etc. We’ll have a 1.5 hour relaxing early evening practice, and then an easy dinner on the property together as a group. We will have a tour of the farm arranged by the group, and we’re looking into a boat rental on the island for a fun day on the water. We’ll start the retreat with an evening yoga class followed by dinner, and we’ll finish with an early morning practice and light brunch before check out.
The Island / Getting There
Zakynthos is one of the larger Greek isles and one of the most western islands. There are a few different ways to get there, but we would recommend a short flight from Athens, Greece (there are also flights from other European cities during the summer as well).

This retreat property is a collection of small villas scattered across the organic olive oil farm where we will be staying. Most of the villas have two bedrooms and share one bathroom but there are a few options where the bedrooms will have their own private bath. See above photos for a sampling of accommodation style. Each villa is unique and full of individual charm.

COVID-19/PRECAUTIONS/TRAVEL
Out of an abundance of caution we will be requiring Covid vaccination for this particular retreat. If you have any questions about this or anything else please don’t hesitate to reach out.
We are going to do our best to travel and cohabitate responsibly. As the retreat date approaches but we are going to stay on top of all travel restrictions and procedures as they evolve. We want to keep in mind that there may be a need for proof of negative test results as well as any other travel requirements from the CDC and the Greek Government. On a smaller scale I want everyone to remember we will be with a group with varying covid comfort levels and so we ask that everyone take their most communal minded approach to safety before, during and after travel. We will update this page with the latest info and stay in touch with the group as the date nears.
CANCELLATION POLICY
BEFORE - July 1st 2022: Deposits ($1000) are refundable on a case by case basis.
July 1st 2022 - END OF RETREAT non refundable.
No refunds or credits will be granted for failure to attend, complete, or for arriving late or leaving early.
We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance. There are many insurance options available that cover quarantining due to positive covid test results and other travel interruptions. We are not responsible for any cancellations.
We reserve the right to cancel the retreat up until 30 days prior to the retreat start date with a FULL refund to every student (not including airfare/boat tickets/car rental/scooter rental or any other personal travel cost).
